Hey friends! I've been a lame-o blogger these days but wanted to at least post that I'm still alive. :) I appreciate your prayers and support over the past month and just wanted to tell you that the Lord's been working and things are looking up! It's been a time of going deeper in my relationship with the Lord and even though prayers don't always get answered in the way I wish they would, I can definitely see God's hand over our family.
The biggest think I've learned on this journey: do not underestimate what God can do. He is able to do way beyond, beyond all that we can imagine! I learned that at my bible study and think that's pretty powerful! When we stop putting limits on God, He is able to do big things and I love that!
I can't believe that we're already at the beginning of February. I was looking at my calender a couple of days ago and was amazed to see that tomorrow will have been 3 years since I started blogging. The time has totally flown right by and I can't believe that it's been that long already. While I'd like to say that I'll be able to get back into the swing of things like I used to with blogging, I just don't see that happening. Although I never really post anymore, it's something that's always in the back of my mind. At the heart of it, it's just not something that's a priority to me anymore. Since things like Instagram and FB have pretty much taken over the way we share things with friends, I don't really feel the same pull to blogging like I used to. Things have changed a lot in the last three years.
I've been thinking lots about things and think I'll either be taking a break from blogging or just going back to a private blog like I did over the summer. Either way, I just wanted to say what an amazing journey this has been. It's a special one that I don't think many other people who've never blogged will fully understand. Thanks to those who have stuck around all this time. :)

I'm glad that you are continuing to have faith and that bible study is helping! I'm continuing to pray!
As for blogging...I felt exactly the same way a few weeks ago. But as I was going through my first year of blog posts, I realized how much I missed the way things were prior to FB and all the great memories I was documenting. I'm now really excited about my blog being private and being able to document everything and not having to worry about it. I need a place to keep track of these great memories and FB just isn't that kind of place. Although I love, love, love instagram for documenting daily pics! :)
I really hope you will continue blogging...even if you go private like me. I know that it's a pain getting on the laptop, but I think it'll be worth it just to look back on. :)
And just know that I read your blog, but never comment on my phone. But guess who's going to have to be on the laptop more!? Lol!
I totally get it! I'm there myself. It's very likely i'll be going private soon, mostly to protect my family, esp my girls.
Life is full of changes...and I never have been one that easily adapts to change. But I get there eventually. (:>)
Blogging brought you into my heart Ver. You and your family are very special to me. If you do stop blogging we can keep up by email and also facebook. But I will miss the long posts you always used to do and all of the pictures.
Even I don't blog as much as I used to...and I have way more time on my hands than most people...so I do understand. You are a busy mommy. And I LOVE it that you spend your time living...and going to MOPS and to Bible Studies when you can. You are learning so much! That is wonderful. The Lord is always there as close as your next breath...and He will never let you down.
I am always praying for you...and I love you!

Blogging for social reasons just doesn't really exist anymore, but I'm going to keep mine going for the kids since its much easier than scrapbooking. I always enjoyed reading your blog and I will miss it since its the whole reason we met!
I have been in a blogging rut lately, too. (My blog of 6+ years is private) I love going back and looking at the pics (especially of my kids) from years past and reading my thoughts during certain times. Plus, I've had the first couple years of the blog made into a book via Blurb. Much better for me than scrapbooking! ☺
I am with you, as you can see, not much going on with my blog the past year. And it is easier to post and share on FB and other mediums. But I really enjoy having my own space that only a few people know about. I agree with your friend Kristen, it is much easier than scrapbooking, time wise anyway. Another thought I have had is creating an email address for Noah like in that Google Chrome commercial? Since my blog is really for him lately anyway. =) The thing is, if you feel the Lord telling you that blogging is taking your time away from things it shouldn't, than you have to listen to Him.
i've stepped back from my blog a lot over the last year, yet it always is good to do it, for me, once and awhile. mainly because i like to ramble, and i can't do that on facebook. and i don't care if i blog and no one comments (i used to!) i got back to my "blogging roots" and realized i'm blogging because i like to/want to not because i'm trying to impress anyone. it makes it a lot more fun for me again.and i think that's why i quit, it wasn't fun anymore. i love you. and can't wait to SEE you again!!! 2 months. :)
