Praising Him No Matter What!

Okay...I'll admit it.  I tend to be a person that can be a little on the negative side a lot of the time.  It always seems like there's something out there trying to pull me down.  I hate that I can be that way but, that's just the truth of the matter.  When I step back and take a look at myself and things I've done or said, sometimes it makes me cringe.  I want to have a better attitude, with a more postitive outlook, but sometimes circumstances make it hard.

Over the weekend, I was starting to feel overwhelmed by the burden of certain situations in my life.  I am definitely blessed beyond measure, but sometimes just the weight of life can get me down.  I felt a pull from the enemy trying to remind me that some things look downright hopeless.

Like...

The fact that we had a major expense hit us hard lately.

The fact that I got a letter in the mail from my health insurance company saying they're going to raise my premium in January to a figure that we just cannot afford.

The fact that we still haven't found a home church and haven't been attending church for months already.

The fact that we have a tiny car and we'll need to get another vehicle before this baby comes.

Sometimes certain situations can be downright overwheming.  Despite what I see with my natural eyes, I have decided I have to be positive and put my trust and faith in Him.  What else can I do?  Where else can I go?

Right now, at this very moment, I am thankful for a God who loves me so much.

He has blessed me with...

A roof over my head.

Clothes on my back.

A family who loves me.

Some awesome friends who I don't know what I would do without

and...

He continues to amaze me every single time I feel this little person inside of me kicking.

I am praising Him despite the circumstances and I wait expectantly for a breakthrough.  I am praising Him no matter what!

Though it may not seem like it, I would also be grateful that all of your circumstances can be changed. They are within your control.

I remember going through all of those struggles a few years back. They seemed overwhelming at the time. I didn't know how I would ever get through. I didn't realize how truly blessed that I was to have those as my struggles until Nate died. Now, I wish that I could go back to my old struggles. It's so strange how your perspective changes after a tragedy.

Don't let Satan steel your joy for this new baby. All of the struggles are from him. God will provide for you. He will provide in every way.

Hugs,
Trisha

Good for you! I'm right there with ya. I'm a pessimistic person by nature. I've actually been really working on it a lot lately especially now that Evan can process what's going on around him. It's scary when I realize my behavior and he's right next to me.

I'll be praying for you this week!

Kristin's comment cracked me up! lol! :) praying for you. life is so hard sometimes... have you seen louie giglio's "When Life Hurts Most"? You can find it online or on youtube. google it... he talkes about how we can have victory in the midst of our deepest hurts because He has overcome the world! We really got a lot out of that sermon series.

Such a sweet reminder that we serve a GOOD God...no matter what, He is faithful and will not forsake us. Hang in there, Sweet friend...He will carry you through. And what a joy to feel your little one move - isn't it the most incredible feeling? There's nothing sweeter ;)

I am with you, what else can you do but trust God? If he cares for the birds, surely he cares for us! Praying for you!

Thank you for your sincerity. I've had my share of moments like this specially this past year...but I have learned that only He can carry us through them. And though the enemy will try...he won't succeed. He who is in you is GREATER than he who is of the world.

This is just a season and the Lord is right there with you.

I will be praying for you and your family, Veronica! I know how hard it is not to look at the wind and the waves. But as you praise Him no matter what and claim His promises of provision over you, you are victorious!

Bloggers Unite!!

hahaha I just had to since Kristin mentioned that. ;)

Keeping trusting that God will provide. There are so many things to worry about and it's hard not to stress over them. Praying God will have command over all these things.
