Show Us Your Life...Wedding Party and Flowers Edition

It's Friday and today I'm linking up with Kelly again to share pictures of my wedding party and flowers.

As I mentioned last week, I got married on May 25, 2002 in San Luis Obispo, CA at my home church called Agape Christian Fellowship. We had a large-ish wedding, mostly because we are Hispanic and in our culture there really is no such thing as a small wedding! We had a total of five bridesmaids, five groomsmen, two flower girls, one ring bearer, and two candle lighters. The entire wedding party was family, with the exception of my Maid of Honor who was my very good friend.

As I've mentioned here before, I love roses and daisies so those were the two types of flowers that I wanted to be featured in my bouquet, and the bouquets for my bridesmaids. In this picture, the bouquet at the bottom left was my main bouquet, the one on the right was my throw bouqet and the one in the background was one of my bridesmaids' bouquets. My wedding colors were dusty rose and cream, so I was so excited to have roses in exactly those two colors!

In this picture, you can get a better look at my bouquet. I love how it turned out!

I had to throw this picture in because I think it is so cute. My nieces Breanna and Hannah were my flower girls. It's amazing to look at this picture and compare them to what they look like today. They have done a lot of growing in the last seven years and they are already almost teenagers now! I also wanted to add that I got the girls' dresses in the Garment District in Downtown Los Angeles. If you are in CA, that is the best place to find anything you need for a wedding for cheap.

Here's a picture of my sisters, my Hubby and I, and my Mom and Dad.

Here's one of my favorite pictures with me and my Dad. I was always a Daddy's girl, so looking at this picture made me a little bit sad, because a lot has happened between us since then, and we aren't really as close as we used to be.

And here's one last picture of our entire wedding party together. Believe it or not, there were a few more people we could have added to the wedding party, but we just had to narrow it down a bit. I felt bad that we couldn't include every family member in the wedding party but sometimes that's just the way it goes when you have a big family!

Well, that's a quick look into my wedding again. Hope everybody has a wonderful weekend!

P.S. I just wanted to say thanks so much for all the fun comments you guys left on my Trying to be Southern post the other day. At least I now know what Rotel is, for heaven's sake! Thanks so much again to Steph for sending me some!

Oh My Goodness Veronica,...You were such a Beautiful Bride!!!

I love the colors that you had, and the flowers too. All of your attendants were so lovely.

Isn't it fun to remember that special day?

I am sorry that you and your dad aren't as close as you were. I will send up some prayers concerning that.

Our wedding was just a little intimate affair and I don't have any pictures scanned,...but since we just had our 33rd anniversary I might just have to put something together and poist about it one of these days.

You are such a cutie. I love you lots!

Your wedding was so beautiful. Mine was so full of mishaps LOL. Including some invitations that didn't get to their destination and my wedding being the week after my dad's side of the family's family reunion. I didn't think of that before choosing a date..... So of my dad's 8 brother's and sisters I think 2 came. It also doesn't help that several of my uncles and cousin work at the same place and can't all request the same date off. So of the over 100 people that were supposed to be there 30 came. All wanted to but just couldn't. We did well in the gifts department (of course that wasn't the reason why we got married LOL)
