Partytime

I am happy to report that both of my girls are finally feeling better from being under the weather earlier this week. Thank you to everyone who prayed for them. You truly do not know how much your prayers meant to me.

Yesterday was the first day this week that Audrey really started feeling better. It was me, on the other hand, who was not feeling too good yesterday. It had nothing to do with anything physical, but more to do with something I found out yesterday that upset me. I was so glad that we had a birthday party to go to, so that I could get my mind off of what I had been thinking about.

Today I thought I would post some pictures from the party last night. We went over to Isabel & Rene's house (My SIL and BIL ) to celebrate Rene's birthday. Let me just remind you again that my husband has a big family. He is one of five siblings and on just his side alone, we have 11 nieces and nephews! Since I really don't talk a whole lot about our family, I thought it would be fun to post some pictures of the kids. I didn't get pictures of everyone, so next party I will work on that. Sorry if this post is boring to some of you....this post is mostly so that I can have a place to keep a record of what the kids looked like at this age. Since I have been in my Hubby's family for the last 12 years, it's just been awesome to see how much the kids have grown. It's been amazing to be a part of a big family (although it does have the good and bad), and getting the priveledge to be an Aunt over and over again:)

The first picture is of my niece Rabae's little boy, Justin, and my niece Breanna. The second picture is both Justin and Audrey together. What is so funny is that these two little ones are only two months and a day apart....My niece and I were pregnant together:)

This is Breanna and Hannah...two of Alyssa's favorite cousins. When Alyssa is around them, she thinks that she's a big girl just like them. (The girls took this picture of themselves, of course).

Here's Audrey and Grandma S...

All the girls posing together...

And lastly, Alyssa and I...

Well, speaking of birthdays, Alyssa's birthday is just around the corner, on June 18th. I really have to get going on party plannning. We are going to be doing a small party, and I really mean small, since this year she'll just be turning four. I have a habit of making every party a big one, but since we already did something big for Audrey's party, I have to be a good girl and not break the bank for this one. Well, I'm off to get going on some have-to's for today. Have a great Friday, everyone!

P.S. I took these pictures with a new camera that I got this week. It's a Canon Powershot A1000, and it seems to be working great for this very simple "point and shoot" kinda girl!

I love big close nit families. My family is not that close. I'm glad you had a great time. How exciting you finally found a camera that's woring good! I was going to take some photos of the kids one day a found that my camera wasn't working, so I got on ebay and bought myself a new one. When it finally came my husband, Henry, was fiddling with the other one to try and "fix it". The battery was dead, that's all! I felt like such a goof! I spent 250 for nothing. Ha! Now Henry has a camera too. Enjoy your weekend.

Oh Veronica...I just read your last few posts and wish I had read them earlier so I could have been in prayer for you. So glad to hear you are all doing better. I LOVE the song you posted cuz that's my favorite song lately. Praying God helps you conquer this, sweet sister!

V-
Your family is beautiful! You should be very proud.....God definitely has blessed you. He will bless you as long as you are his servant. I listen this morning to Charles Stanley how our Father wants us to be faithful servants, no matter what anyone says about us, keep our eyes on the Lord, He will reward you for all of your servanthood. I believe our Father has you where you need to be at this time. He may even be getting you ready for something BIGGER. Keep praying and listening! Your girls are special and so glad you have a wonderful life! I was 38 yrs old when I started my teaching career, (Late bloomer, LOL) I needed that time and my trials to be an affective teacher...God has taught me a lot and I have grown during the time prior to teaching. I have completed one masters and working on my second. HE WILL GIVE YOU BLESSING SOONER OR LATER! Hugs and Kisses and many prayers! :)
