Well, if you've hopped over to this blog at different times over the last few weeks, you'll see that I've been fiddling with my blog design. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to make things look the way I'd like around here now that it's not our family journal any more. I was able to play around a little bit more today and settled on what you see now. I'm definitely not a blog designer, so we'll see what else I can do to spruce things up around here without having to hire somebody! :)
To add to all the changes, I've really been feeling like the blog is going through an identity crisis of sorts. I know since moving, my goal was really to take the focus off of personal stuff while still continuing to share things that were important to me. At the end of the day, what I really want this blog to be is just a space where I can share whatever I feel like sharing. Whether it be projects I'm working on, a recipe, or a book I'm reading, I want this to be a place where I get do that. I also want it to be a place I can share the needs of friends, just like I did the other day about my friend Wren, and know I will have people that care about what I share and are willing to help or pray when I share that need.
That being said, I just want to thank the people that stepped up to say that they'd be willing to help. I know that this isn't a huge blog, but I do know that there are people that come here from all over. I've been blessed by this community of friends that I can't see yet know are always there! So...thank you so much again for saying yes to helping pray for Wren and her sweet family.
Also...for those of you who are still interested in sending anything to Wren, please email me or leave a comment and I'll be sure to get back to you with her contact info. I also wanted to share with all of you a place where you can go to for updates on Wren and baby girl. Earlier in the week, her church set up an updates page on their website where anyone can go to read about the latest news on Wren's health. You can go HERE to see that. The latest updates were just posted yesterday and will give us all more specific ways on how to pray.
Well, I think that's it for now and again, I just want to say thanks so much for sticking around through all the changes. You guys are awesome! :)

Hey! Hope you're having a great day so far! I just found that older post in my dashboard and then when I clicked "home" I found this new post. My sidebar doesn't update very good, it seems! The blog look is looking good to me :) I need to update mine again too....I'm getting bored with the colors, but I don't want to mess it up too bad! Ha!! I wish I knew how to put different backgrounds. I would love to do an orange polka dot one with turquoise header, to match my Gussy bag I'm waiting on. LOL!
Thank you for the link to updates on your friend! My MOMS keep asking me. And please get me an address. I have people clamoring to send her well wishes, and even grocery gift cards, since they can't send ready-made meals, which her husband will TOTALLY need with her in hospital for a while!

This makes your blog really easy to read. Nice and clean too. I would have no idea where to begin...so I just leave it to Abigail. (:>) But I don't worry about changing it. If she ever wants to give me a gift of a new design I will accept! (:>)
John and I are praying for Wren..and I sent her a card. There was an address in Waco that I saw somewhere. (I hope it was the right one.)
I sure hope and pray that the baby will be ok, and that a miracle will take place for Wren.
I hope the girls are feeling better. Summer colds are the worst! Praying for them too...and always for you my girl.
Love, Momma Linda
I feel ya! I've been wanting to redesign my blog too and every time I try something out it doesn't do what I want it to do. I just really need someone who knows how to do it and give them my ideas cause it's just not working for me. Hope you have better luck!
Been praying for your friend Wren everyday. I think of her and her family often and pray they are able to stay strong through everything they're going through.
