Since I have no baby updates for today, I thought I'd share some pictures of some bowling fun we had over the weekend with my Hubby's side of the family. It had been a long time since we'd been bowling and Alyssa was really excited about hanging out with everyone and giving bowling a shot.
What is so funny is that Alyssa may have looked happy in that last picture but let me tell you...it took a good amount of coaxing to get her to that point. For some reason, like many other experiences in life, this silly girl gets all pumped about something only to back out at the last minute screaming and crying that she just can't do it. Talk about a drama queen! The good thing was that when we first got there, I at least got her bowling shoes on. After a good while of letting her just watch everyone else play, she finally decided to take a chance and play with her cousins on their special bumper bowling lane!
Audrey had a fun time being passed around and visiting with her Auntie Isabel (my Hubby's sister holding her here) and her Uncle Frankie (my Hubby's brother) who was here visiting us for Christmas.
You can totally tell here that Alyssa finally decided that bowling wasn't so bad afterall!
The girls and me. One being crazy, the other being cuddly!
Audrey finally had her chance to play something since she can't bowl yet. She had the best time pretend driving!
All in all, the girls had a really fun time. On the one hand, it makes me want them to be a little older so we can enjoy doing more fun stuff like that as a family. I keep reminding myself that they'll only be this age once, and I'm trying to enjoy all the little moments!

I have been wanting to take the kids bowling just didn't know how they would do. I may give it a try!! The pictures are too cute. So nice to see a picture of your husbands side of the family!! You have the most beautiful family!!
Ha! I just love the huge smiles on Alyssa's face! So cute!!! We love to go bowling, although we only do it when someone is having a birthday party there, it seems. I was just telling Morgan maybe we should go bowling this weekend, because we have a bunch of free game passes.
Hope the girls are feeling better soon!!
her big smile is so cute! looks like lots of fun. can't wait for some baby news!
I think a good caption for that last picture would be, "ooh, is that a cop I just passed?"
It's so funny how kids get all into something and then freak out just before doing it! They're too cute!
Sorry the kiddos are not feeling well, I hope you guys have a great New Years and weekend!
Your pictures turned out great. My bowling ones are always so dark. Great job. Cute too. I love that Alyssa was enjoying herself. All three of mine enjoy it.
What a little stinker! Glad she finally decided to join in on the fun! V is already developing a stubborn streak like her mommy... Last night, at my parents' house for dinner, she refused to sit in her high chair, because she wanted to sit on her aunt Kelly's lap instead. I'm in trouble when she's a teenager!
