On Saturday, I took my girls to get their haircuts. They were long overdue, and I decided to get them in there since we're approaching the Holidays already. I decided to take the girls to my hairdresser even though we have one of those kiddy haircut places here in town. I used to take Alyssa there when she was my only child, but now that I've got the two, there was no way I'm gonna spend $20 per child for a haircut! It was Audrey's first time, so I let Alyssa go first so that Audrey could see there was nothing to be afraid of!
Audrey and I sat together in the next chair over and I was being silly taking fun pictures of us...
I couldn't help myself and decided to take a picture of my big girl getting her haircut. She looks a little nervous here, but she really wasn't. She always does such a good job and has never gotten upset for haircut.
Next up was Audrey. Since it was her first time, I had a feeling she might get a little upset. She is my sensitive one and she cries for just about anything, so I was a little nervous to see how she'd react. As you can tell from the picture, she really wasn't too excited about getting her hair cut. I was determined to get her hair done no matter what though, because it was starting to get pretty wild and choppy looking. Her bangs also needed a lot of help due to the fact that Mommy tries to trim them even though she has no hair cutting skills whatsoever! Well, as it turns out, the haircut was all of maybe five minutes of my hairdresser racing to cut Audrey's hair. It went south fast and it ended with enormous crocodile tears and Audrey screaming so loud that everyone in the salon was staring at us. Good thing it was a slow day at the salon!
In the end, our trip was well worth it because I think the girls' haircuts turned out pretty good. Here are the before pictures...
And the after pictures I took today. (Audrey wouldn't cooperate unless I let her have the toothbrush...sorry!)

Oh and Evan was all good for his first hair cut and then the other two were miserable! I guess by getting older he becomes more aware or something! haha!
OMGOSH! They looks adorable! I've always thought you had cute kids too. Tell them I said their hair looks GORGEOUS! (seriously though, there hair really does look fantastico). :0)
Ok, like I usually have to do, I used wrong wording twice! First, I put they 'looks' adorable instead of 'look', and then I put 'there hair' instead of 'their hair.' I know, you probably thnk I'm pretty weird for correcting...but seriously....I cannot leave a blog knowing that I worded/spelled some stuff wrong. :0)

Definitely two of the cutest girlies ever!!! :D I love how a good haircut can just make your whole face light up! They look precious! Reminds me I need to do haircuts again over this holiday. And try to color my hair...which may in fact result in one of the most hilarious blog posts ever if it doesn't go quite right. LOL! I was noticing how shiny and beautiful your hair is in your picture with Audrey! My hair always looks frizzy :(

We have one of those kiddy places too...you're right they are expensive! I find that if I take them to a regular salon they don't do as good of a job though so I splurge on that part.
