Still Alive

Just a quick post to say that I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. :) I've been working on hats this week and I have something new and cool that I'll be introducing next week, Lord willing.

In the meantime, I just have a couple of pictures I took of my girlies today. They are growing so fast and I feel so bad that I haven't taken the time to really talk much about them lately.

The latest with Alyssa is that she's been working on learning how to spell her name. She is a smart little girl, but she only wants to learn on her own terms. As a result, our "school at home" approach has been a little slow going. Audrey is also doing well. She is learning new words all the time and I just love seeing her smiling little face each morning as I go to take her out of her crib. Her latest thing is that she's learned how to give kisses. Just today, she said "kiss" for the first time. Her version sounds a lot more like "tiss," but I'll take it. :)

Well, here are some pics of our only big adventure from today. Our morning started off with a bang, when I got a phone call from someone SEVERAL blocks down telling me that they had this guy. His name is Winston and he's my boston terrier. I took this picture of him on our way home and judging by the picture, you can totally tell he knew he was in trouble when I picked him up.

Let me just tell you too that our dog has NO loyalty to us. We've had him for two years and the darn guy has run away more times than I can count! Of course, when we got the call, we were all still in our jammies, so I had to pack all of us up and take a little ride down the way. Here are my girls in their jammies and crazy morning hair. I'm sure they'll kill me for posting these pics when they get older, but oh well. :)

Well, hope everyone's having a great week so far and I'll talk to everybody later!

Hey stranger :) Glad you are doing well and enjoying your time with the girls!

Your puppy is adorable...don't you love the look on their faces when they know they've done wrong. Ours does that often :)

Missed you but glad your busy with your hat business . . .
I think your doggie loves you but he is a terrier they tend to like to take off. I have a westie also from the terrier breed and he can never be trusted off his lease. I've had him 12 years and he will still take off. hah
But we love them don't we.
Be blessed

I'm sure you didn't find it very amusing, but the look on Winston's face is hilarious! He's like, "What?" I know you told me about him, but I just didn't remember he was a Boston Terrier. I had it in my head that he was a big dog. Ha! We used to have a Boston that would run off all the time. I think it's just in their nature to run as soon as they get out or something. In fact, she got hit by a car because she escaped and got out on a busy road. I have pictures of Madison at age 4, pushing her around in a toy shopping cart. LOL!

I think the girlies look adorable! I was trying to teach Lily her ABC's today and she kept saying ABPG. Oh well. :)

This was a fun post. Glad you're getting your hats done like you wanted to. I know everyone will love them!

Those two little ones of yours are just so adorable! I can tell they know when Mom has her camera ready :) Horrible details about your pooch though - that would be frustrating!!

can't wait to see your new premade hats and your surprise :)

Eric and I totally want a boston terrier! But now that we have a cat, we probably won't get one! Can't wait to see your surprise, and so glad you didn't fall off the earth!!

Okay, so we have a lab who's LOYAL to the nth degree. She follows me EVERYWHERE. My hubby grew up with boston terriers, and we've talked of getting one in the future. But are they all kind of on their own agenda?!?!? He totally looks like he's eating crow and knows it!! I think your girls' pictures are too cute! And yes, they'll be mortified in about 10 years, but they'll get over it!

atleast you got your puppy back. Crazy that he enjoys running away. Maybe there is a friend a few houses down he likes to visit. :) LOL

Looks like you have been busy. Your dog is so adorable. My dog and your could be buddies. Our dog just runs up to anyone and leaves our yard like oh I have someone else to love.. So cute. Jaden is similar to your daughter. On his terms, even though he is so smart it is scary. If he doesn't want to do it he won't.

Hey you! I've missed hearing from you - we've been super busy too. I have SO many sewing projects to get done before baby boy arrives. I can hardly believe it's only TWO months away now. I'm excited to see what's in store for your hat business. I'm already thinking about ordering matching winter hats for Valerie and the new baby.

Glad you're back blogging again! Cute pics of your girls.

I have to agree with you on the 'they will kill you' when they get older and see the pics. LOL! I probably would probably kill my mom if she did that...but while their still young...HAVE FUN WITH IT! At least they don't mind yet...
