Sunday Stuff

Just thought I would pop in really quick to say that we're having a great day over here today!

My Hubby, the girls and I made it to church this morning, so that was awesome! It felt so good to be back after missing so many Sundays. Since we're still pretty new there, I am still working on meeting people. Today in the nursery with Audrey, I met a really sweet mom and her mom who were working there. Turns out, Audrey was the only little one in the nursery today. My goal is to be able to get her used to being there, so that eventually I can leave her there and I can go back to the santuary to hear the message. Since I was in the nursery during the sermon, I missed out on that part, but my Hubby told me it was a good word about how the Lord wants us to take care of both our spiritual and physical selves. During the praise and worship part of the service, we sang a new song. It really spoke to me. Here's a video of it with Kari Jobe singing the song. I just love her voice and every time I hear her sing, the music just speaks to me. She's the same gal who sings the song that plays when you first come to my blog (Revelation Song). When you watch it, be sure to mute the music at the botton first.

Well, the girls are down for their nap, so I'd better get back to work. Today's my cleaning day, so I've been cranking up the volume to my favorite radio station-- KSBJ-- and enjoying the great music while I work. I am so excited today too, because my Hubby mowed our new grass for the first time after church today. It looks awesome! He's firing up the pit for a BBQ and we're going to enjoy the rest of this beautiful day. Happy Sunday everyone!!!

Hi Veronica, I am so glad that you had a good Sunday. God is so good to feed our souls. I think it is neat that your husband told you all about the sermon. You are blessed that he goes with you.

Today is my brother's birthday. He is my little brother and he is 56. I got up at 6AM this morning to bake him a cake. We took him to eat at Rib Crib after church. We also took our daughter Lisa and her husband and 16 yr. old daughter Bailey. Lisa's birthday is Wednesday, and she will be 42.
We had a nice time together and a good meal.

We go to evening church too, so we came home and had left over enchilada casserole. I hope you enjoyed your BBQ.

Pray for Kristin as she ministers to Crystal this week.

Love you beautiful Veronica!
Keep on keepin' on. You are a blessing to others.

Sounds like a wonderful Sunday! We didn't make it to church (which I was really sad about) cuz my hubby had his first of many mountain bike races for the summer. (I don't understand why they can't have them on Saturdays instead of Sundays...) My hubby and I both mentioned that it felt like it couldn't possibly be a Sunday if we weren't in church. So glad you made it to church! I'm now looking forward to bible study/prayer group tomorrow, cuz I really need some fellowship. I'll have to post about our exciting weekend soon though - I got a LOT of gardening done on Saturday and my hubby did really well in his race. Hope you enjoy your Monday!
