Our Easter started off well. We made it to church first thing in the morning, and the service was great. We even sang the song that I really love, called Revelation Song (It's the song that starts playing when you first come to my blog). We went home after church to eat lunch and try to put the girls down for an afternoon nap. They were just too excited about the day because neither of them wanted to take naps. Audrey actually took a little one during the service, so at least one out of two girls got a nap. After the failed nap attempt, we decided to go ahead and head over to my Dad and Step-Mom's house. My Step-Mom made a ton of yummy food including enchiladas, scalloped potatoes, ham, and asparagus, just to name a few dishes! So, so good! Overall, we had a good day. I wouldn't say it was the best Easter we ever had, though. I couldn't help but remember everything from last year's Easter. It seems like just yesterday. I couldn't help but feel a little sad. Last Easter was such a special day for us because that was my actual due date for Audrey. She was born just two weeks earlier, so I remember it being a big production having to get myself and two little girls ready to go to visit the family. I remember telling my Hubby how overwhelmed I felt at the thought that I would have to be getting three girls ready all of the time (myself being one of those girls). It's obviously a lot easier than it was when Audrey was tiny, but it's still a big production with girls any way you look at it. I just have to share a couple of pictures from last year...
This is one of my favorite pictures ever. I have it framed in my living room. Audrey was a tiny little thing at almost two weeks old here...

Here's me and my Alyssa. Last year, I even took the time to flat iron her hair so that it would behave for pictures. This year, I just didn't have the time. Sometimes I feel so bad that I can't do everything I did when it was just Alyssa, but that's just the way things go, I guess.

And here's us this year!
I know that the quality of the picture is TERRIBLE, but it's the only decent one where both girls are looking at the camera. I don't have Photoshop, otherwise I would have fixed this one up before posting. Try to excuse my mouth being open so big. I was trying to get the girls excited so that their Dad could take our picture!

Alyssa riding in a toy car in my Dad's backyard. (In her Easter Dress, no less!)

Here's one I got of the girls when we got home from church. I had an even better one, but I accidentally erased it. I am so mad at myself! I haven't gotten a good picture of them with Alyssa holding Audrey in months!!!

And one last one of my happy girl as we were driving home from church. She had just woken up from her little nap and she was all smiles! I just love looking at this little face!

Well, today's one of those days where I'm dragging a little. Time to get things back in order, and head off to Hatland. Hope everyone is having a Happy Monday!

Love, love, love the pictures!!! Audrey was so tiny and cute in that first one and I love the picture of the 3 of you!! The girls looked so pretty in their dresses!! They are just so precious, I want to come over right now and scoop them up!
I know exactly what you mean about not having time to get all the girls ready! My girls all have naturally curly hair. Kaylee's is super curly, but soft, so usually it will cooperate. But, Madison has wild hair like me. I have to blow dry their bangs every day with a round brush or they stick up every which way! By the time I get us 4 girls ready, it's usually an hour to an hour and a half process. That's usually why I'm late everywhere I go. And to get them ready for school....I used to really try, now it's ponytails, braids, etc. Whatever's fast! LOL
I hope you have a great week Veronica!!

Your girls are beautiful! Time flies. Just a year ago your baby girl was that tiny. I look at my boy (Eli)see how much he has changed since being born 7 1/2 months ago.
Oh and the time. I totally know what you mean! I am always running behind no matter how early I begin!
Have a blessed week!
PS
I got the hat last week. I love it. I am about to make another order because my girl wants one too! Eli kept pulling it off though. Since it has the flaps. It's been funny to watch. HA!
So glad that Easter went well. Those pictures from last year were great and so were the ones from this year. I love looking at photos. Thanks for sharing...your girls are so cute.
I am glad you had such a good Easter. Your girls are so cute. Isn't it amazing how quickly that first year goes!
Such great pics! I was telling Fred on the way to church, that we were fortunate to have boys, because there would've been NO WAY that we would've made it to church on time!! LOL!!
I love the picture of you and Audrey when she was so tiny!!!
Your girls are absolutely precious! Time is something we'll feel like we never have enough of...honestly I'm struggling with it myself and putting myself down for it..I'm trying to realize that there will always be laundry and housework but they're only little for so long :) Sending hugs your way!
Your girls are sweet....isn't it incredible how fast they grow! My lil guy turns 2 on Sat, and I know I will do better than his 1st but I am still sad ( I totally cried on his 1st birthday ).
Just a note, most of the time if you delete a pic it is in the trash. I don't know what kind of photo software you have, but look in there! After we "delete" we then have to empty the trash/recycle bin for it to be permanent. Hope it works! :)
