Easter Hat Giveaway

Good Morning Everybody! Yesterday I mentioned that I was thinking about doing an Easter Hat Giveaway and asked if anyone thought it might be something that they might want to participate in. Thank you to those who responded. I do appreciate it. I've decided to go ahead and officially announce the giveaway today. Initially, I thought about making just one hat in a certain size with colors I chose to be the item I would be giving away, but then I thought that it might be even better for the winner to be able to choose the size, style and color combo that they would like to have. So, here are the rules. Leave me a comment on this post. Tell me one thing about yourself that you think might be fun for someone else to know about you, or maybe even just tell me who you'd like to give the hat to if you win. The giveaway is open to anyone who reads this blog, whether you've left a comment or not in the past. I would love to meet new people, so please don't be shy. As for those of you who always leave me comments, thanks so much for that...it really makes my day! You guys are also welcome to join in. I will leave the contest open until Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. Since this is my first giveaway, and really don't know how many people will be entering in, I will wait until Wednesday night to figure out just how I will pick a winner. If only a few of you enter in, I will probably just put all of your names in a bucket and have my daughter Alyssa pick the winner. This blog isn't exactly bigtime like Big Mama's blog where I will need to use Random.org to pick a winner, LOL!

Okay...so here are the two choices of hats you can choose from if you win:

The Ribbed Beanie...

or...

The Basic Beanie with Ruffled Trim...

I will announce the winner on my Thursday post and the winner can email me with all of the specifics on their choice of hat.

Thanks so much and I look forward to seeing who enters in!!!

P.S. Just wanted to send a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY out to my Dad. I know you read this blog occassionally so maybe you'll see this. I'll do you a favor and not tell everyone how old you turned today...You know I love you! Happy Birthday Pops!!!

Hi! I found your blog through Kelly's Korner! I am enjoying it because I also crochet...but hats tend to be tough on me. :-)
If I'm chosen, I'd love to give this hat to my little girl. She is 5 and will be having surgery this coming Monday, the 23rd. She loves' hats but so far her mommy can only make one type of hat and the ones' you make are beautiful!
you can reach me at enriquea@uci.edu...
thank you!

I too came from Kelly's Corner. If I were to be the winner, I would keep the beanie for when I have a child of my own *hopefully soon*
Thanks for hosting a great giveaway:-)

I just love your hats! My little 14 month old daughter would look adorable in one! A fun fact about me; I use to be a flight attendant and actually met my now husband on a flight about 8years ago while I was working and he was traveling on business. It is amazing to me how God works . . . due to Sept.
11th, I was furloughed from the company. God gave me wings to meet my husband!

I just love your hats and found out today that my niece is going to have a baby. She is only 17 and my heart breaks for her and her daddy (my brother) who thinks the sun rises and sets in her. Please pray that they get through this and make the right choices.

I am sooo excited that you have decided to give one of your hats away. I have a 2 year old that it would look great on!! One fun thing about myself, well umm, I used to compete in rodeos as well as the queen pageants and held a state title and went to Miss Rodeo America. Now all I have time for is work and my family!!!!

Thank You for this opportunity!!!

Veronica,

I was laughing when you were talking about not being "big time" like some other blog give-aways! I was thinking the same thing about my 100th post give-away that I was thinking about doing! LOL Hey, maybe one day we'll be big time! Ha!! I don't care if you are big time or not....I love your blog and I love your hats and you have been a blessing to me!

I would probably give my hat to my new little niece Zoey that will be born next month.
