Wow!!! That's all I've got to say right now. And it takes a lot to render me speechless!!! Thank you, thank you to all of you who have come from Kelly's Korner to check out my little blog. I was blown away last night when I casually went to check my emails and noticed a ton of new mail!!! You have so blessed me with your awesome comments and emails. As you might already suspect, I am a little swamped with emails right now from those of you who are interested in ordering a hat like Harper's. I will be replying back to you all as soon as I am able to. Since I do have my little girls with me all of the time, it's just a matter of finding the time to break away for a little bit here and there to get to the computer. And just a little more info on the hats I do...
I pretty much do just a few basic styles to sell. The one I made for Harper, I just call the Ribbed Beanie. I also do a Basic beanie and an Earflap Hat. Because of copyright issues, it is illegal to sell hats from a pattern that you find out of a book or anywhere else, for that matter, when you don't have the author's permission to use it. This obviously puts limitations on what can be sold, and rightfully so. The hats I do are made up from basic styles using basic crochet stitches.
To those of you who are interested in knowing about the size of hats that I make, here's that info:
0-3 months 12-14" circum.
3-6 months 14-16" circum.
6-12 months 16-18" circum.
12months-Toddler 18-20" circum
(yes, I've renamed this size)
5T-Preteen 19-20.5" circum.
Teen 20.5-22" circum.
Please feel free to email me if you would like to know about prices. As for those of you asking about color options, when you email me, just ask me about what colors you might be interested in and chances are I either have it or I can get it. Another important thing to know...since I'm just a simple gal who doesn't have a crochet business, here's what you'll need to do to place an order: email me and let me know what color/size you would like for me to make. I'll let you know what the prices will be and then you'll need to send either a cashier's check or money order to me. (I'm not accepting paypay for right now, since I'm just starting out, and this is all new to me). When I receive payment, I will ship out your order to you.

I would definitely like to get in line for a couple of the hats in 12-24 mths size. I know I want one like Harpers and I am not sure which other one. Do you have pics of the other two? So I'm in line..let me know when you're ready and I'll decide on colors and you can give me prices :) Thanks

lol tis true you are already a blogging celebrity! lol the patterns you used are from a book? do you mind sharing with me what book? I took advice from another blog to do something nice for someone else and decided I would really like to make them some hats. I am new to crocheting but love it! Thank you for inspiring others. You never know what one simple act of kindness with branch into! I have also decided per your actions that I want to start making hats for the NICU as well as the Cancer floor of my loca children's hospital! thank you!
