Yesterday I took Alyssa on a little adventure. I let her be a rebel and skip her nap. ;) My mom came over and watched Audrey during nap time and Alyssa and I got to go somewhere together, just the two of us. Alyssa was so excited to have some alone time with mommy. She even said, "I really like this mommy, when it's just you and me by ourselves." Those moments are pretty rare since I usually always have both girls with me. Anyhow...Alyssa and I hopped in the car and drove down to where we had to be.

I took Alyssa to my doctor's office with me to see her new baby brother or sister. That's right...
I'm pregnant!!!
I have been so excited about sharing the baby on my blog for a few weeks now, but I wanted to make sure everything was okay before I shared the good news. I am still really early on in the pregnancy, so yesterday was my first ultrasound. I was excited and anxious all at the same time. I couldn't wait to see the little heart beating and make sure everything was okay. All day before my appointment I just kept telling the Lord...I trust you.
Turns out everything was great! The ultrasound lady said that the baby looked great and it turns out I'm measuring even further along than I'm supposed to be. As of yesterday, I was 9 weeks, 2 days. According to the ultrasound, the baby is measuring 10 weeks, 1 day! I'm not sure how that all happened because I know my dates, if you know what I mean. My first real appointment with my doctor is next week so I guess I'll see then if they have for sure decided to change my due date. The original one they gave me is April 26th, but the ultrasound tech said that she wanted to change it to April 20th. Either way...we can expect to meet the next member of our family sometime next April!
Well, today I am so happy just to know that this little baby inside of me is growing and doing well. I will definitely be having a lot to share in the next few months here on the blog! :) Our family is super excited and everyone on my Hubby's side of the family is dying to see if it will be a boy. Either way...I just feel so happy that we've been blessed with another miracle!
For now I'll leave you with the only other picture I got yesterday. Since I'm not able to get the scan function of my printer to work with this new computer yet, I'll have to wait until I get my old computer back to post a close-up of one of my ultrasound pics. In the meantime, this one will have to do. Hope everyone is having a great day so far!!!

Hey sweet girl!!! I am estatic for you--when your wrote me a while back I told Zach (he knows who you and some of my bloggers are b/c I talk about y'all like I know y'all in real like :)) he told me when you 'announced' it to be sure to tell you CONGRATS---so Congrats from me and Zach! Oh I am so happy for you Veronica! A 3rd child will be such a joy to the little family you have. It's so hard NOT to tell everyone isn't it? I was 9 weeks at my first ultrasound as well. We joked because I called our baby a little teddy graham... at least that is what he looked like on the sonagram :)

This is soooo exciting!!!! We're due the SAME WEEK! I am due April 24th (my birthday) we had an early ultrasound because they only asked me for my LMP not when I ovulated. And they were kinda far apart the month I got pregnant. So some in the office were saying as early as april 9th, April 13 and April 16. I've had two ultrasounds and both say April 24th and I'm measuring a day or two ahead. My mom is over and I was screaming and she thought I was nuts!!!! Wow I am so happy!
Congratulations! That is very exciting news. April is a good month to have a baby; my birthday is April 25th and my two daughters were born in April. I hope you are feeling well.

Oh my goodness......how is it that I'm almost the last one to comment today.....you know I must be busy if I was off the computer all day! Ha!
